Personal Care Assistants are responsible for the general supervision of the client’s health at home. They administer services that are outlined in the specialized care plan that is reviewed by our Registered Nurse and approved by the client’s attending physician.
Here are some of the tasks covered by our PCA’s:
- Bathing assistance
- Assistance with dressing
- Toileting assistance
- Mobility assistance
- Meal preparation and planning
- Eating/feeding assistance
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Arrange transportation to doctors’ appointments
- Grocery shopping assistance
- Running errands for the client
- Arrange transportation to family gatherings and social functions (only for private duty patients)
